My name is Amin. I am a certified ski, mountaineering and mountain biking guide, based in Tehran. I used to go to the mountains as a kid, since I was 6 years old. When I was a teenager, I always dreamed becoming a mountain guide. Now I am the vice-president of the Iran Mountain Guiding Association, a full member of BMC and meber of UIAA. I have experience climbing 7000-meter mountains. Some of my published material include “Noshaq, a different peak” ( 2010), about my journey in Hindukosh; a “Climbing Dictionary” (2016), includes English to Persian mountain terms and “Mountain Environment Protection” (2019), about mountain ecosystems and ways of protecting the mountains. Also one if the first Iranian guides who start the IFMGA course from 2018.

Ski touring in Alborz and Damavand I created an account here just to make a good review. We decided to try ski touring in an new destination to get a taste of iranian culture and enjoy the pure snow of the alborz range. Amin (iran mountain travel) has been very responsive and helpful to design the itinerary and proposed extra activities for the after ski and days we could not ski.

Perfect ski trip with international mountain guide We went ski touring for 7 days with amin and his team with 3 friends and had wonderful time. Amin Knows the région perfectly and we felt really safe even in hard conditions. The snow sas fresh and perfect, wild nature in Iran is Amazing. The team cooked us great meals and spending time with them allowed us to better intox Iranian cultures and habits. One of my best ski trips ever. Strongly recommended. We felt safe in iran and did not feel the international tensions.

This is the "only" official mountain guide certificate from IR mountain federation and also Ministry of Tourism. so if you do not want to get in complicated trouble like insurance coverage in emergency cases and tourism police certificate, we advice you be sure about this certificate. IMT always use certified mountain guides in all mountain tours.
